The Laubwerk Player plugin for SketchUp allows you to use Laubwerk Plants content with SketchUp. To keep SketchUp as snappy as you are used to but at the same time allow you to use high quality smart content, the plugin only loads low poly proxy models into SketchUp for placement. High quality geometry is generated in the background as cache files to automatically feed it into your renderer of choice. These files are updated or cleaned up as you change settings and work with the plant assets in your SketchUp model. The Laubwerk Player Plugin consists of two main components which are both available through Extensions → Laubwerk or the Laubwerk Toolbar. Use the Plant Library Browser to select Laubwerk Plants and add them to the model. The Plant Attribute Editor can then be used to control the settings for the selected plant object. The Plants placed in your scene will show as simple proxy meshes and show up with full details when rendering with your renderer of choice.
